GENEVA (92 News) – Pakistan's Permanent Representative at the United Nations Geneva office Tehmina Janjua has said that India’s statement that terrorism is responsible for the current situation in Occupied Kashmir is baseless. In a statement on Monday, she said that the Indian atrocities against the people of Occupied Kashmir aimed at suppressing Kashmiris of their just right to self-determination. “Mothers have buried over a hundred of their sons and daughters during the ongoing atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir,” she said. Tehmina Janjua Hundreds of Kashmiris have been deprived of basic human rights due to continuous curfew in IOK. “Kashmiris have been deprived of religious speech and writing.” She said that the only solution of the Kashmir dispute is independent and justified plebiscite.
