Indian authorities put PDP president Mehbooba Mufti under house arrest

SRINAGAR (KMS) – In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, was “put under house arrest” after she tried to visit residences of slain civilians Altaf Bhat and Dr Mudasir Gull, who were killed in the Hyderpora encounter last week.

“She wasn’t marching towards the encounter site. She was scheduled to visit the bereaved families of the two victims,” wrote PDP spokesman Suhail Bukhari on Twitter, while responding to a news item about Mehbooba’s house arrest.

As per reports, Mehbooba was supposed to visit the bereaved families but was not allowed and put under house arrest.
