Indian HC Ajay Bisaria calls on Imran Khan, congratulates him on poll success

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria called on prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan at Bani Gala and congratulated him on his success in the elections. PTI leaders Shirin Mizari, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Fawad Ch Dr Shahzad Wasim nad Naeemul Haq were also present in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan stressed the need for restoring bilateral dialogues to resolve all disputes, including Kashmir. He expressed grave concern over violations of human rights in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. “I hope a meeting of the SAARC heads will be held in Islamabad soon,” he said. The Indian high commissioner hoped that a positive era of Pak-India relations will start. He said that the telephonic conversation between Indian PM Narendra Modi and the PTI chairman Imran Khan has given birth to a hope. “We hope that the relations between both countries will set on a positive note,” he added. The Indian HC also gave a bat signed by Indian cricket team to Imran Khan as gift.
