Indian High Commissioner summoned, protest lodged over ceasefire violation at LoC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry summoned Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawala and lodged strong protest over the ceasefire violation at Line of Control. The foreign secretary handed him over the protest letter, deploring the increasing Indian ceasefire violations at the LoC and the Working Boundary especially during last two months. The foreign secretary asked the Indian HC to stop provocative firing. “We will give a befitting reply to aggression if India did not stop unprovoked firing,” he said.
