Indian paramilitary plane crashes, killing all 10 aboard

NEW DELHI (92 News) – A small Indian Border Security Force plane crashed shortly after takeoff, killing 10 people in the Indian capital on Tuesday.

According to Indian media reports, the incident occurred due to severe fog. The Beechcraft King Air plane chartered by India's Border Security Force (BSF) came down after hitting a wall in Dwarka district and burst into flames.

The plane carried two pilots and eight technicians. According to BSF PRO VN Parasar, the three senior officials identified are Captain Prashad, Captain Rajesh Jhivrin and Deputy Commandant Dilip Kumar. The other seven were inspectors and below rank officers.

This isn't the first time a BSF Beechcraft Super King aircraft of the BSF has crashed. More than two decades ago, a plane with only the pilot onboard, crashed near the international airport in Delhi.
