Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youths in Pulwama

SRINAGAR (KMS) – In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youths in Pulwama district on Friday. The troops martyred the youths during a violent cordon and search operation at Braw Bandina in Awantipora area of the district. The troops also launched similar operation at Nehama in Tral area of the district. Meanwhile, the occupation authorities snapped internet service in Shopian and Pulwama districts and suspended train service between Srinagar to Banihal section.

Kashmir dispute an unfinished agenda of partition: Gilani

All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Gilani has said that the Kashmir dispute is an unfinished agenda of the partition of Indian subcontinent in 1947 and none of the three basic parties to the dispute, India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir is in a position to avoid any untoward consequences of this visible danger in South Asia. Syed Ali Gilani chairing a meeting of APHC’s Executive Council at Hyderpora in Srinagar expressed dismay over India’s repressive policies to suppress the Kashmiris’ voice for right to self-determination. He reiterated the APHC’s stand for settling the Kashmir dispute through a meaningful dialogue but deplored that India’s stubbornness had remained a stumbling block to go ahead in this direction. He demanded setting up of a war crimes tribunal to investigate the grave human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. The meeting attended by the heads of the constituent parties of the APHC or their representatives reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the ongoing struggle for securing their right to self-determination to its logical conclusion. It paid rich tributes to all the martyrs of the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement. The meeting also lauded the steadfastness and patience displayed by the Kashmiri prisoners languishing in different jails. The occupation authorities have ordered launching of prosecution against the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, along with ten other persons in a false case registered against them in 2009. In New Delhi, a court has sent illegally detained Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Masarrat Alam Butt and Aasiya Andrabi, to judicial custody till July 12. The leaders are facing illegal detention in fake cases registered against them by India’s National Investigation Agency and are presently lodged in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail.
