Indian troops martyr two more Kashmiri youths in Shopian

SRINAGAR (KMS) – In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiri youths in Shopian district on Tuesday. The youths were killed by Indian army’s 1 Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group during violent cordon and search operation at Awneera area of the district. An Indian official claimed that two militants were killed in the gunfight and the identity of the slain is being ascertained, he said, adding searches are underway in the area. Meanwhile, the occupation authorities suspended all Internet services in the district. UN, MAJOR POWERS URGED TO SETTLE KASHMIR DISPUTE All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Gilani has urged the United Nations, the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China to expedite their moral, diplomatic and political efforts to resolve the Kashmir dispute. Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement, asked the international community to prevent India from carrying out barbarism, ruthless killings, incarceration of political activists and gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir. The APHC chairman termed the Kashmir dispute as an outcome of non-compliance of the 1947 formula for the Partition of India and stressed early settlement of the Kashmir issue through grant of right to self-determination, guaranteed by the United Nations. A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League visited the residences of martyrs in Pulwama and Islamabad districts and extended their sympathies with the bereaved families. The delegation was led by senior party leader, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai. Scores of men and women associated with Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons, today, staged a sit-in protest at Partap Park in Srinagar demanding justice for the disappeared family members. Indian forces launched a cordon and search operation in Akingam village of Islamabad district and conducted door-to-door searches in the area.
