Indian troops martyr three Kashmiris in Shopian

SRINAGAR (KMS) – In Occupied Kashmir, India troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youths in Shopian district on Monday. The youths were killed by Indian troops in a shootout operation in Moolu Chitragam area of the district. The killing triggered anti-India protests in the area. Several people were injured after Indian police and paramilitary forces fired pellets and shells on protesters in different areas of the Shopian and Islamabad districts. On the other hand, Mehran Ahmed Banday who was injured after he was hit by pellets in his head in September in 2018 succumbed to his injuries in Srinagar. Meanwhile, Indian Border Security Force killed an unarmed person at Bhag Nallah in Pargwal-Khour area of Jammu district.
Complete shutdown as three more youths martyred in Occupied Kashmir
In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youths in Sopore town on May 13. The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search cooperation at Bunpora Mohalla in Dangerpora area of the town. The occupation authorities suspended internet service and ordered closure of educational institutions in the town. The martyred were identified as Nasser Ahmed Mir son of Muhammad Yousuf Mir, a resident of Brath, and Asif Ahmed War, son of Ghulam Muhammad War, a resident of Warpora Sopore. Meanwhile, body of a BA student, Javaid Iqbal, was recovered under mysterious condition at Chak Bonala in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu region. In Occupied Kashmir, Kashmir and Palestine Day is being observed on Friday to impress upon the United Nations and the international community to fulfill their commitment to resolve the two disputes in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the World Body. A complete shutdown being observed in Occupied Valley on Friday. Call for observance of the day has been given by Syed Ali Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. A resolution calling for an end to military occupations in Kashmir and Palestine will be presented in all mosques, shrines and imambargahs across the territory. The resolution will call for peaceful settlement of the world’s two oldest and lingering disputes – Palestine and Kashmir and urge the international community to play its role in resolving these disputes. Syed Ali Gilani made a fervent appeal to the organization of Islamic countries to ponder on the present critical political scenario at international level and chalk out an effective strategy to address the challenges faced by the Muslim community at internal and external fronts.
