Indian woman files petition seeking her repatriation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Dr Uzma, the Indian woman who contracted marriage with a Pakistan man filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking repatriation to India on security issues.

In her petition filed in the IHC by, she said that she came to Pakistan on the sponsor letter of her husband Tahir and he received her at Wagha border.

She said that Tahir she was forced to sign on ‘Nikahnama’ (marriage certificate) on gun point, adding that Tahir is a greedy man.

She stated in her petition that her daughter Falak is not well in India and she also sought exemption from police reporting.

She further requested the court to allow her to return to India.

She said that husband has confiscated all necessary travel documents in this regards and foreign ministry should be directed to issue her a duplicate copy of immigration form, petition added

The court issued notice to Foreign Ministry.
