Indian woman’s marriage issue: Dr Uzma accuses husband of raping her

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Dr Uzma, an Indian woman, has alleged that her husband had raped her and solemnized the ‘nikkah’ at gunpoint.

In a statement before the magistrate, she said that she had not come to Pakistan for contracting the marriage.

She alleged that her immigration documents had been snatched and she wanted to go back to India. She filed a petition against her husband under Article 506.

Dr Uzma said that she would remain in the Indian High Commission till his return to India.

The court has issued notices to her husband Tahir Ali, the ‘nikkahkhawn’, the registrar and witnesses.
