Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that Kashmir was not discussed during the US visit. “We had given the first information about Osama bin Laden to the US. We will get a relief at the western border after peace in Afghanistan,” he said. He announced to make the Iran border safe as well. The DG ISPR said that the Modi government is following the philosophy of Aldof Hitler, which is sowing the seeds of a new war in the region. “These acts are a big threat to peace. India sent its jets in response to our message of peace and the world saw their condition,” he said. He added that India had entered the environment of fascism where 220 million minorities are facing a sense of insecurity and inhuman treatment. Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the issue of Occupied Kashmir is an internationally recognised matter, saying that India’s acts in the valley point towards its intention for a new war. “Indian move is aimed at destabilizing the region and harming the security situation in South Asia.” Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan has strategic importance in the region of South Asia. He also said that the international players have their vested interests in the region. On bilateral ties with India, Asif Ghafoor said that two nuclear powers do not have space for a nuclear war, due to which India indirectly tried to cause damage to Pakistan. “Prime Minister Imran Khan had sincerely offered negotiation to India,” he maintained, adding that Pakistan is a responsible state. “The Modi government are following Hilter’s ideology and wanted Pakistan’s military to engage on eastern border after a long engagement on its western border. I want to remind India that wars do not only require a strong economy but brevity and courage,” the ISPR director general termed. He reminded India that if it opts for a war, it should remember that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) heroes like Nauman Ali and Hasan Mehmood are ready to do what they did when India tried to enter Pakistani airspace on February 27. “If you impose a war, remember February 27,” he warned India. The DG ISPR said that since August 5, the Occupied Valley is in a state of lockdown and even the opposition leaders in India couldn’t visit the disputed valley. “India has increased human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and Pakistan is trying to steer global attention to the matter,” said the DG ISPR.
