Indiscriminate operation will continue for peace in Karachi, says PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the indiscriminate operation will continue for peace in Karachi. He was presiding over a high level meeting held to review the implementation of National Action Plan in Islamabad on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by federal ministers, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Rizwan Akhtar and Foreign Adviser Sartaj Aziz and other senior officials. The prime minister said that they would eliminate filthy terrorists from the Land of the Pure. The meeting also agreed to strengthen links among institutions to eliminate terrorism. Adviser on National Security Lt Gen (retd) Nasser Janjua briefed the meeting about the recommendations of the committee on NAP Implementation Committee. Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz presented the report on the FATA Reforms Committee. The report suggested not to change the status of the FATA, stressing administrative reforms.
