Indus in high flood; Extremely high flood in Guddu, Sukkher barrages
LAHORE/KARACHI (92 News) - The flood situation worsened across the country on Sunday as swollen Indus River reached at a dangerously high level at Guddu, Sukkur and Chashma. As per details, the floodwater has inundated nearly more villages in the areas of Kandhkot and Ghotki districts in Sindh, cutting off land links with them, which made relief work difficult for the local administrations and armed forces of Pakistan. However, the local administration, Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy continuing their relief and rescue activities. In Punjab, the River Indus and Chenab River are flowing in very high flood at Rajanpur, which has inundated over 50 villages of district Rajanpur.
