Indus Water Treaty violation: Commission to raise issue diplomatically

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Indus Water Commission has decided to raise the issue diplomatically and in the Commission, while taking notice of the violation of the treaty by India in Siachin. According to the Indus Water Treaty 1960, India cannot interfere in the water of Pakistani rivers. It has decided to object to the construction of hydel power project on the Nubra and Sindh rivers.
