Industrial package will speed up economic progress, says Hammad Azhar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar said that the Industrial package announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan will speed up the economic progress in the country.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the prime minister had directed to reduce the production cost. "Electricity will be provided at the rate of the peak hours," he added.

He said that the previous government had signed the power agreements at high rates.

Federal Minister for Energy Omer Ayub said that the government steps would control the genie of price-hike. "We are heading towards improvement. The energy sector suffered a loss due to costly agreements," he added.

Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said that the government had brought stability to economy by taking important decisions. "We collected over Rs one billion as tax during four months," he claimed.
