Infant killed in firing between dacoits and police in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - An infant girl was killed in the firing between the dacoits and the police in North Nazimabad on Saturday.

Her mother was also injured in the incident.

The SSP Central said that they got information about the plunder by dacoits on 15. "The dacoits opened on the fire when the motorcycle police reached there. A woman and her infant baby sitting in rickshaw was caught in the firing. However, the dacoits fled while firing," he informed.

Relatives alleged that the infant was killed by the firing of the police.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and sought a report. He has ordered immediate arrest off the fleeing dacoits.
