LAHORE (92 News) – An influential identified as Aqeel Mirza, who subjected a youth to brutal violence at gunpoint, has been released on bail.
Judicial Magistrate Shahbaz Hassan Rana ordered to release accused Aqeel Mirza on bail behalf of agreement with plaintiff. The court also directed to Aqeel for submitting surety bonds worth of Rs0.2 million rupees.
The plaintiff of the case Gul Shan Shahzad presented before the court and submitted affidavit of forgiveness to Aqeel Mirza. Ghul Shan adopted a stance that the accused did not threat to kill him. Aqeel just only beat him and he forgave him for his act.
South Police Station produced the accused before court. The first information report (FIR) was lodged on the complainant as Gul Shan Shahzad.
Later, the complainant forgave Aqeel Mirza during the recording of his statement before police. He further said that he forgave the accused for sake of God and desire of his family, requesting to finish the case.
Yesterday, the police arrested private bank manager accused Aqeel Mirza from his house situated in the State Life Society. The police also recovered the weapon form the accused which he used during the violence. His car was also taken in the possession by the police.
The police took action against the influential after video of violence surfaced on the social media and arrested him.
Earlier, Aqeel subjected a youth to brutal violence at gunpoint and also gave threats to the young man.
The influential citizen grabbed the young man from his neck and knocked him down and continued to torture the young man after falling down. He kicked on the face of citizen when he was on the earth. After the incident, the video of brutal violence has become viral on the social media.
Meanwhile, 92 News obtained the details of vehicle in the use of rich man. The vehicle of influential person is registered on the name of Aqeel Mirza. Aqeel is citizen of Lahore and Model is 2017.
