Injured APS student Ahmad Nawaz leaves for London

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Ahmad Nawaz, who got critically injured during Taliban attack on Peshawar school on Dec 16, has left for London today (Thursday) for medical treatment, 92 News reported. Last Friday, Prime Minister's Spokesman Dr Musaddiq Malik had handed over four passports with duly stamped UK visas and travelling documents to the victim's father Muhammad Nawaz. The Federal Government has also provided Rs 30.6 million for Ahmad's treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The Peshawar school attack is still a flashpoint in Pakistani politics. Families of the slain students are still pressing the government to provide answers– and more support for those who were wounded.
