Inside story: Saulat makes startling revelations during JIT interrogation

KARACHI (92 News) – Death row prisoner and former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker Saulat Mirza made startling revelations during his interrogation by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in Balochistan's Machh jail, 92 News exclusively reported on Friday. According to sources, Saulat placed his hand on the Holy Quran, recited Kalma and told the JIT team that he did not request to pardon or delay his hanging. Sources said Saulat revealed that Babar Ghouri was the mastermind of Shahid Hamid’s murder. He confessed to Café Piyala shooting and exchange of fire with the armed forces. He revealed that Governor Sindh provided him with internet facility through a jailer during his jail time in Karachi, sources added. Saulat also revealed that MQM paid PPP leader Latif Khosa Rs 2 million for review on his hanging, sources said.
