KARACHI (92 News) – Inspection inquiry team has sent report of irregularities in COVID-19 to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

In the report, unverified expenditures of Rs202 million has been identified. For the construction of isolation wards in the hospitals of Gudap and Dumba Goth funds of Rs300 million were released. Only Rs99 million among those were verified.

In Thatta and Sajawal Rs101 million were released for constructing COVID-19 HDU and CCU. Ventilators were purchased in these areas but those were not used.

Not a single patient was registered Dumba Goth Hospital. The medicines which were purchased of millions of rupees are getting expired.

According to CMIT report, there is not any proper power supply in Gadap Hospital. The report recommended that proper use of government funds, proper monitoring system should be devised.
