Institution proved its foresight by including all names: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Awami Muslim League (AML) chairman Sheikh Rasheed has said that the institution proved its foresight by including all names in the summary sent to the PM Office for the appointment of the COAS and the CJCSC.

In a tweet on Wednesday, he said that now it was a question of merit, not like or dislike. "Whosoever is appointed the army chief, he will remain away from politics and will be loyal to the institution," he maintained.

He hoped that the new army chief would try to support the dilapidated economy. "Nawaz Sharif played judo karate with the army chief he appointed," he added.
