We were insulted by using word ‘Godfather’: Saad Rafique

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has on Sunday said that his party has demonstrated patience and calmness over every issue. Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Sunday said that they were insulted by using the word Godfather by the judges. “Why the Articles 62 and 63 of the constitution is imposed on politicians only?,” he asked. The former minister said that the Articles 62 and 63 has turned out to be 582B of the Constitution, which was taken out. He said that the Articles should now be applied to everyone, adding that former president Pervez Musharraf and former CJP Justice (r) Iftikhar Chaudhry will also be asked. Saad Rafique said that they had raised questions regarding the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif and said that why an elected prime minister was disqualified. He said that the PML-N and Sharif family extended full cooperation to JIT during investigation process. Saad Rafique said that the court didn’t take any action over the issue of photo leak.
