Intense fog lingers in Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – It may have been difficult to drive in Punjab Friday morning as intense fog lingered across the province including Lahore. According to the details garnered, intense fog has lowered the temperature causing difficulties for passengers on Motorway and highways. The visibility in several cities in Punjab including Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar has been reduced considerably as drivers were seen moving with the headlights of their vehicles and fog lamps which severely affected the traffic flow. The motorway has been closed for traffic at many places, while the foggy conditions have disturbed the normal life of citizens. A residents of Lahore said, “This morning it was pretty heavy. Visibility, I bet, was less than a block. It’s all a part of the winter season.” “That's part of the whole winter process that we have around here with the inversions and the fog setting in. It limits people’s ability to see,” he added.
