October 15, 2016
LAHORE (92 News) – The students of Intermediate part-I took to the streets on Saturday against the faulty marking in their examination. The students held protests in various cities of Punjab, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahimyar Khan. The students demanded of the government to take action against the officials responsible for wrong marking. This is the second day of protests after the students gathered outside the Board Office on Friday. The protest had caused a traffic mess on the adjoining roads. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had ordered an inquiry into the matter. The education secretary had asked the Lahore board to recheck the papers free of cost.
