Interior Ministry sends summary to CM for deploying Rangers in Punjab

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Interior Ministry has sent a summary to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to deploy the Rangers in Punjab. The summary proposes limited powers for the Rangers. Moreover, the Rangers will also be given representation in the joint investigation teams. The Rangers will also be able to conduct the operation along with the Counter Terrorism Department. After the deployment of the Rangers, indiscriminate action will be taken against terrorists, banned outfits and their facilitators.
