International flight operation to slowly resume from April 4 or 5: Moeed Yusuf

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf has said the international flight operation will start resuming slowly from April 4 or 5. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that no Pakistani passenger is tranded at any airport across the world. “The domestic flights will remain closed till further orders,” he said. Moeed Yusuf said that t he the government is not resuming the train services. NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal said that Pakistan’s flights will depart for China in 3-4 days and they will return with 15 ventilators and medical equipment. “The flight coming from Beijing will bring 100 thermal gates. Protective gears have been given to medical staff in Islamabad,” he said. The NDMA chairman said that two more laboratories will be set up in Gujrat and Bahawalpur. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza expressed his optimism that number of persons recovering from coronavirus in the country will increase in the coming days. He said confirmed cases reported in Pakistan during the past 24 hours are lesser than the cases reported in previous 24 hours.
