International monetary institutes start trusting Pakistan’s economy, says Ishaq Dar

KATHMANDU (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has on Thursday said that international monetary institutes have started trusting on Pakistan’s economy. Addressing the seventh South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference of Finance Ministers in Kathmandu on Thursday, Ishaq Dar said that the economy of Pakistan has stabilized in the last two years, adding that the economic reforms program will continue. He said that the energy projects are being started on priority basis. Dar said that Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have reached US$19 billion. He advised to hold eighth SAARC conference in Pakistan, which was later accepted. The eighth conference will be held next year in Pakistan.
