Intizar murder case: JIT’s third meeting postponed after DIG’s notification

KARACHI (92 News) – The third meeting of the joint investigation team (JIT) was postponed after a notification was issued by the Counter Terrorism Department DIG. CTD Acting DIG Pervaiz said that they had written a letter to the Interior Ministry. “The case will start from the point where it stopped after the notification,” he said. The JIT members have objected that why the notification was not issued by the Interior Ministry. On the other hand, the Rao Anwaar and Intizar cases were reviewed in a meeting of the CTD. Acting DIG Pervaiz said that the doctor’s statement is being recorded in the Intizar case. “We will decide in the light of facts and proofs,” he added. In a CCTV footage, the ACLC officials could be seen firing at the vehicle.
