Investigation of assassination attack on Imran Khan handed over to Counter Terrorism Department

LAHORE (92 News) - The investigation of assassination attack on Imran Khan has been handed over to Counter Terrorism Department.

According to security sources, the main accused of the case,Naveed, has taken to CTD cell in Chung for interrogation. A polygraphic test will be conducted on the accused. Mobile phone, pistols and bullet casings were also sent for forensics.

Meanwhile, the teams of investigative agencies reached the incident site again. CTD and forensic teams are examining the evidences. They are collecting the evidences in day light. The container has also brought back to the place where the firing took place.

On the other hand, the body of PTI worker Moazzam, who was killed in firing in Wazirabad, was handed over to the heirs. According to the family of the deceased, the postmortem of the body has been done. They have demanded the Punjab Chief Minister to declare Muazzam a martyr.
