IPL spot-fixing case: Court drops charges against Sreesanth, Ajit & Ankeet

MUMBAI – A court dropped all charges against cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing case on Saturday, reported 92 News. The court was likely to frame charges against the cricketers today. Meanwhile, the court also discharged all 36 accused arrested by police. On July 30, 2013, Delhi police had filed a chargesheet in connection with the IPL 6 spot-fixing case, alleging that Dawood Ibrahim and his aide Chhota Shakeel were the main accused behind the scandal.
