Ishaq Dar calls on President Alvi, seeks PTI cooperation for improvement in economy
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar called on President Arif Alvi at President's House on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar conveyed him the message of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and sought the cooperation of the PTI for improvement in the economy.
The minister also briefed the President on the overall economic situation of the country, and the steps taken by the government to provide relief to the most vulnerable segments of the society. Various matters concerning finance, economy and rehabilitation of flood affectees were also discussed during the meeting.
According to sources, the minister presented him several points, including a decrease in the export bill. President Arif Alvi presented Imran Khan's stance about the early elections.
President Arif Alvi also met Senate Chairman to discuss the political and parliamentary situation.
