Ishaq Dar says development fund will be set up for foreign investors

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that development fund will be established for foreign investors.

Addressing the post-budget press conference on Saturday, he said that they had proposed five-year economic roadmap instead of three years.

“We will tighten the noose around non-filers,” he said.

The minister said that all of them should agree to the Charter of Economy.

He said that importance had been given to defence in the fifth budget. “The CPEC projects will expedite economic progress,” he maintained.

Ishaq Dar said that loans had been reserved for only development expenditures. “Loans will be given to farmers at a low mark-up,” he added.
