Ishaq Dar withdraws petition against declaration as proclaimed offender

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has withdrawn his petition against declaration as proclaimed offender.

As per details, Supreme Court heard the case against declaring Ishaq Dar as fugitive. During the hearing, PML-N leader requested the court to withdraw the petition against the Ishaq Dar declaring him as fugitive and proclaimed offender. The Supreme Court dismissed the petition after Ishaq Dar withdrew the petition.

After the application was dismissed, the court decision to declare Ishaq Dar as a fugitive and proclaimed offender is intact. Ishaq Dar was declared absconder by the court for his continuous absence in the asset reference case. Ishaq Dar had challenged the court decision in the Supreme Court.
