Islam teaches brotherhood and equality, says Azam Nazir Tarar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar has said that Islam teaches brotherhood and equality.

Expressing his views in the Senate on Friday, he said that desecration of the Holy Quran is a condemnable act. "We will jointly register over this incident."

Former prime minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani said that Islam is the religion of peace.

"Our sentiments have been hurt by the desecration of the Holy Quran," he maintained.
