Islamabad authorities finalise preparations to demolish slum in I-11

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Preparations have been finalised for grand operation to demolish slum in Islamabad’s I-11 area on Thursday. Chief Commissioner chaired a high level meeting, which was attended by Inspector General of Police, Chairman Capital Development Authority and other district officials. The meeting decided that Rangers, Islamabad Police, Rawalpindi Police and CDA officials will take part in the operation to demolish slum, while police personnel of three Rawalpindi police stations will be reserved for any emergency situation. Emergency has been declared in all Islamabad hospitals to meet any untoward incident.
