Islamabad court issues non-bailable arrest warrants for Gandapur, others

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

ATC judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case registered against the KP chief minister and others at the I-9 police station in Islamabad.

The court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi and Amir Mehmood Kayani.

The court declared Umer Tanweer Butt a proclaimed offender for continuously skipping court hearings.

Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz and Raja Majid appeared in the court along with their lawyers. The court accepted Faisal Javed’s request for exemption from personal appearance.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 3, 2024.
