ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Following the crackdown of government against political parties over the November 2 sit-in, the Islamabad Metro bus service has been temporarily suspended by the local authorities. Reports suggest that after evaluating the current tense political situation in the twin cities, the decision has been taken by the local authorities. Metro Service is considered to be the backbone of public transport. The commuters of the twin cities are facing problems due to the closure of Metro Bus service as public transport vehicles plying on different roads do not complete their routes. The residents of twin cities complained of suffering from suspended Metro bus service, especially students and government employees who use the bus service to commute from Islamabad to Rawalpindi.
