ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Congress leader and former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Thursday that the issue of terrorism would be resolved through peace. Speaking to the journalists over the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India, Navjot Singh Sidhu showed the mirror to Narendra Modi-led government and said, “We will not get better if think bad for others.” Sidhu said the issue of terrorism would be resolved through peace only. “We need to resolve problems through talks,” he said. Sidhu – who had arrived in Pakistan to attend Kartarpur Border Corridor ceremony in November last year – said issues were not resolved through creating hatred and intimidation. However, Sidhu took his twitter and admired the goodwill gesture of PM Imran Khan for releasing Abhinandan and said, "@ImranKhanPTI Every noble act makes a way for itself... your goodwill gesture is ‘a cup of joy’ for a billion people, a nation rejoices... I am overjoyed for his parents and loved ones."

Two pilots killed as two Indian jets shot down by PAF: DG ISPR
A day earlier, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian jets on Wednesday, giving the first surprise to India.  According to the ISPR, the Indian jets had violated the Line of Control. The PAF gave a timely response and destroyed them. The Pak Army jawans arrested one of the pilots. The wreckage of one of the jets fell in the Pakistani territory, while the wreckage of another jet fell in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan does not want to push the region to the war. “No one wins a war and only humanity loses. We are a responsible state and want peace. The war is not a solution to any problem. We do not want to do anything which will prove our irresponsibility,” he said.
