It's first budget that didn't mention poor man, says Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that it is the first budget which did not mention the poor man.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Wednesday, he said that the government wants to collect Rs 600 billion from the masses by imposing a tax on petrol.

He said that a minister is assigned another portfolio over incompetence. "The minister should be sent home and the FBR be closed," he added.

The PML-N leader said that several billionaire parliamentarians do not pay taxes. "How a person evading tax can impose tax on others?" he added.

Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar said that the costly agreements signed by previous government had increased electricity rate. "The PML-N should rectify itself after reviewing its past," he added.
