QUETTA (92 News) - Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial has said that it is time that everyone should forget their differences and contribute to peace while the country's situation is before all people.

Addressing a ceremony on Monday, he said that the destiny of nations is not determined by judicial decisions, but by their leadership. "There should be supremacy of law in the country. However, misconduct and disorder are seen in the subordinate courts," he observed.

The chief justice said that there will be chaos if there is no respect for the law and the court. "It is important for us to protect the institutions under the constitution. The decisions will be in accordance with the law and the constitution," he added.

Earlier, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel of the Supreme Court welcomed Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on his arrival at the newly constructed building of Quetta Registry. Both were presented a guard of honour by police.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel also inspected different parts of the building. Later, they heard the cases in the newly-constructed building of the Quetta Registry.
