It's time to compensate for excesses meted out to country: Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that perhaps it is time to compensate for the excesses they themselves meted out to the country.

Addressing the seventh meeting of the PML-N parliamentary board on Monday, he said that they will have to come out of their ego if they want to compensate for the excesses.

"In 2017, the PML-N government was going well and the people were happy. Our enemies were jealous that the PML-N will win the 2018 elections if they are held fair. The people want to know why the country has been ruined. The world has gone far ahead. Why are we lagging behind?," he maintained.

PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and president Shehbaz Sharif presided over the 7th session of the PML-N parliamentary board. PML-N senior vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sanaullah also participated in the meeting. The board selected suitable candidates from Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran.
