It was told in both NSC meetings that no proof of foreign conspiracy: DG ISPR

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar has clarified that it was told in the both meetings of the National Security Committee (NSC) that there was no proof of the foreign conspiracy.

In an interview with a private TV channel, he said that a baseless and unfounded propaganda had been launched against the national security institutions.

"No one has the right to defame the identity of the institutions. The Army is also offering sacrifice along with the nation. We got the less budget of Rs100 billion. Utility bills have been limited. We are taking steps to reduce consumption of diesel and petrol," he maintained.

The DG ISPR said that they had contacted the family of former president Pervez Musharraf. "The army chief is of the view that General (retd) Pervez Musharraf should return to Pakistan. But his family and doctors will have to decide whether he should travel or not," he added.

He said that the Pak Army had returned Rs6 billion after saving it from the corona funds.
