It’s government duty to dispense justice in any civilized society: CJP

LARKANA (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that it is duty of the government to dispense justice in any civilized society. Addressing the Larkana District Bar Association on Saturday, he said: “We can overcome our problems in a decade if we mend our ways.” The CJP said that the country was forcibly ruled for 30 years. "Unluckily, we did not receive the leadership that take the nation to the destinations of progress." He said that angels would not descend from the heaven to eliminate corruption and introduce good governance. The CJP said that the print and electronic media had become active now. He returned all the gifts given by the Larkana Bar Association, saying that he could not take care of them. He said that he could not accept the gifts being the chief justice.
