RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Former information minister Pervaiz Rashid said that it is injustice to deprive Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Qamarul Islam and Hanif Abbasi of freedom. Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail on Friday, he said that the PML-N is striving for the release of all workers. To a question why Nawaz Sharif refused a meeting with Ch Nisar, the former minister said that only Ch Nisar could tell about it. “The people have rejected Ch Nisar in the election results,” he said. He said that no decision has yet been made on the presidential candidate. “However, consultations with allied parties are going on in this regard.” Pervaiz Rashid was of the view that it will be good if the opposition agrees on a candidate. When asked whether the PML-N will support Aitzaz Ahsan as the presidential candidate, he said that they will consider his name if he comes to Adiala Jail and seeks apology from Nawaz Sharif for his words.
