RAWALPINDI (92 News) – High achiever students in Intermediate exams belonging to Ittehad-e-Tanzeemate-Madaris Pakistan (ITMP) from all over Pakistan met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Wednesday. Thirteen students, including four girls, belonging to ITMP achieved top positions in various boards. The COAS congratulated the students for securing top positions in various disciplines. He emphasized students to continue working hard and contribute towards prosperous and progressive Pakistan and be part of society as useful citizens. COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that ongoing efforts to bring Madaris in fold of mainstream national education system will open avenues for Madaris students to excel in contemporary career streams. The COAS also lauded the efforts and commitment of parents and teachers for providing environments to students help achieve such distinctions. Later, the COAS gave prizes to high achievers and souvenirs to parents and teachers in recognition of their efforts.  Students thanked the COAS for providing them this opportunity and recognition of their achievements.
COAS assures AJK president of Pak Army’s support to Kashmir cause
On August 16, Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Masood Khan called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa. In a tweet, DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif GHafoor said that both had discussed situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K) and Indian provocations on the Line of Control (LOC.) The COAS assured the AJK president him of Pakistan Army’s full support and commitment to the Kashmir cause and its people.
Pakistan will never be compromise on Kashmir: COAS
On August 14, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday said that there can never be a compromise on Kashmir. According to the Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghaoor, on the eve of 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan and Kashmir Solidarity Day, the army chief clarified that Pakistan has always stood by Kashmiris against India’s hegemonic ambitions, will always do. “Reality of Kashmir was neither changed by an illegal piece of paper in 1947 nor will any other do it now or in future. Pakistan has always stood by Kashmiris against India’s hegemonic ambitions, will always do. There can never be a compromise on Kashmir,” ISPR Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor tweeted.
