Jahangir Tareen announces new political party, namely 'Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party'

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Jahangir Tareen on Thursday announced a new political party, namely 'Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP)'.

Addressing a press club with other party leaders on Thursday, he said that he was very thankful to the people. "I am laying the foundation of a new political party. My object has been to play some role in the progress of the country since I entered the politics. I met several people and learnt a lot from their experiences," he added.

Jahangir Tareen said that he had struggled day and night to strengthen the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. "We inculcated passion in the party after the 2013 elections. We played our role to strengthen the PTI for bringing reforms in the country. Unluckily, it could not be done," he maintained.

He said that they would have to increase the exports and uplift the IT sector. "It is basic necessity to bring reforms in the country," he added.

Abdul Aleem Khan said that they had decided to unite on a platform and play the role in the progress of the country. "We contacted the PTI leaders who left the party after May 9. Only solution to the problems to make the country developed. We have to stabilize Pakistan after eliminating chaos from the country," he added.

He said that all members would contribute to the progress of the country under the leadership of Jahangir Tareen. "We have to make such Pakistan where the parliament, politicians, establishment, judiciary and the people should be on the same page," he maintained.
