Jahangir Tareen followed legal way and he will succeed: Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Jahangir Tareen had followed the legal way, hoping that he would succeed.

Talking to the media, she said that Jahangir Tareen was shown the door of the courts to ensure justice and fair play.

"It is the legal right of Jahangir Tareen to move courts for justice. Sibtain Khan and Abdul Aleem Khan also followed the legal way when allegations were raised against them instead of mudslinging against the national institutions. We should follow the rule of the law as all are equal before the law," she stressed.

To a question, she said that Jahangir Tareen had expressed his reservations in yesterday’s press conference as complaints are made on the basis of strong relations. To another question, she said that Uzma Bukhari is a political orphan who needs others crunches to remain alive in politics.

She advised the opposition to support the government instead of criticizing the public-friendly policies of the PTI government. "One can fully understand the pain and agony of Rana Sanaullah because most of the sugar mills are owned by the PML-N and whenever action is initiated against the sugar mafia, Rana Sanaullah comes forward to act as its spokesperson," she concluded.
