KARACHI (92 News) - The Jamaat-e-Islami has accused the Sindh government of rigging in the local government elections, staging countrywide protest against the rigging on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference, JI ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the Singh government in collusion with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) rigged the elections.

He said that the JI had won more nine seats and they had Form 11 in this regard. "We will stage the sit-in where the rigging was done. We will also move courts. We will talk to the PPP only after resolving the issue," he declared.

The JI ameer said that the people had elected the Jamaat-e-Islami in the local government elections due to its service. "We have won the districts which were considered to be the citadel of the MQM," he added.
