Jamshed Cheema announces to challenge rejection of his nomination papers

LAHORE (92 News) – Jamshed Cheema, the PTI candidate from NA-133, has announced to challenge the decision of the returning officer regarding rejection of his nomination papers.

Talking to the media, he will also move the Supreme Court for justice. "Permission is granted to contest the election despite minor mistakes. In this case, refusal to contest the election is regrettable," he maintained.

He challenged the PML-N to contest him in the election instead of technical objections.

Earlier on Saturday, the returning officer had rejected the nomination papers of Jamshed Cheema and the covering candidate.

The PTI had awarded the party ticket to Jasmhed Cheema. His wife was his covering candidate. The PML-N had objected that those suggesting their names did not belong to the constituency.
