MUZAFFARGARH (92 News) – Former lawmaker Jamshed Dasti failed to pass the exam for Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as the Bahauddin Zakariya University announced the results on Tuesday. Dasti, who failed to secure any seat in the last general elections, did not manage to score well in multiple subjects for the law degree and was declared ‘failed as a whole’. The former lawmaker appeared for the law exams last year and took the papers at the Government Science College, however, he was not able to pass Part-I of LLB. Jamshed Dasti shot to prominence after the Supreme Court heard a case regarding his fake degree in 2010 and the politician resigned in a bid to avoid disqualification; he was a member of the National Assembly on a ticket of Pakistan Peoples’ Party then. The politician, however, was confident of his support base and contested the elections again bagging victory from NA-178 after a few months. Jamshed Dasti also formed his own Awami Raaj Party and contested elections through its platform in 2018, however, his party was not able to secure any seat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qHTxNYvDdA
